Wi-Fi functions by sending out radio signals from a wireless router to nearby devices. This radio signal is translated into various forms of data that you can see, use, and hear. While plugged in, and even while not in use, your Wi-Fi router is putting out radio waves in the form of EMF radiation. While your device is connected to the Wi-Fi router, it too will put out radio waves for the connection to be maintained.
Electromagnetic fields of radiation or EMF, can be ionizing or non-ionizing. Ionizing radiation is extremely dangerous and can damage human tissue. Wi-Fi emits non-ionizing radiation – which can also be dangerous when we are exposed to it in the long term at a constant low dosage. This is why we strongly suggest turning off all Wi-Fi routers at night when not in use. This simple act can benefit you in the following ways:
